My Life

I loved the My Life project! I spent way too much time on the beginning informational stuff though. I shouldn've made it simpler and spent more time on my actual life. My beggining part was cool though. I learned how to use Keynote and put it into iMovie. I'd been wanting to learn how to do that for forever. I likfe the project but I wish I would've had more time. I feel like I didn'd do it to the best of my ability. I also like watching others projects. It gave me new ideas and helped me understand new ways I can use our ever-changing technology to the best uses.

Music Genome--Reggae

I did my project on reggae. I loved learning about this music. It's so relaxing and it provides a worry-free zone. I got to learn about the origins of it along iwht the newer songs included in the genre reggae. I didn't like Garageband because you couldn't adjust your movie or pictures if you needed to. It was limiting my creativity and didn't allow me to make on-the-spot decisions. I liked learning more about iMovie and PowerPoint more though! I liked watching other peoples too. The videos were entertaining, informative, and quite enjoyable! I liked learning about music genres that I never would've otherwise!

iMovie of Technology

We had to make an iMovie presentation on one of our classes. Our group did ours on Technology class, how fitting, right? It was great! We got interviews from the principal, Mrs. Brown, Ms. Perino, Mrs. Rodolfi, and Mrs. Strauss. We incorporated all of their answers to make an informative video. One thing we needed to work on was the fonts. We were supposed to add some sort of special effect but we forgot and it didn't seem like slow-mo was a professional addition to our project. I know how to use them, however, and am sad we missed 5 points. O well.

The Little Mermaid Podcast

This week, we had to do a podcast of one of our favorite movies. I chose The Little Mermaid. I liked doing this project, because it taught us how to use GarageBand. It was frustrating though because it would change my project without me and change my voice, or delete a sound. I don't like GarageBand because of this, but maybe I'll get used ot it. I also didn't like how you couldn't animate the pictures. I wanted to make them transition neatly but instead they cut off at weird angles and flipped through at the wrong time and it made me angry. O well.

Storyboard for our Technology project on technology!

Today my group, Katie Querciagrossa, Kelly McLaughlan, and Sarah Mattern, and myself, had to show our storyboard, or outline,to the class. We had the topic of Intermediate Technology Applications. I'm so glad we got this class because we're in it right now! It should be easy and we're excited to start on it. We plan to have music, interviews, and great graphics to make our project appealing and fun. We have a great start; our transitions look amazing including the ones meant for the text. This project should be fun because we are basically making an advertisement and it could maybe get used!!

Name Project: Jensen Belle

We had to make an iPhoto slideshow with letters spelling out our name and pictures showing our interests. I liked doing this project because I like working with editing settings and orders of movies. I chose the letter pictures from the internet but I took a couple of them. THe other pictures showed me doing activities such as swimming, hanging out at the beach, and going to the movies. I liked this prject also because I got to think about what I like and how to express this in a photo. I don't like iPhoto that much; I prefer iMovie because there are more options and I'm more used to it. Above is one of the pictures I used to show that I liove going to Camp!! Peace out!

Merging Project

Today, in our Technology Applications class, we learned how to merge and Excel document and a Word document. This will come in use when I get a job. I want to go into some field that involoves communications, so knowing how to write a business letter is a must. I also want to do volunteer work so this particular assignment will come in handy. I now know how to merge adresses into a general letter. This will save me so much time in the future, instead of typing in eash adress to the letter. With a few clicks of a button, I'll be done! Voila!
